How to Make a Milkshake

Ingredients and Equipment:

  • 3 scoop of ice cream (any flavor you like)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • Flavor (any flavor you like) 
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sugar (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Toppings like chocolate chips, sprinkles, or fruit (optional)
  • A blender
  • A tall glass
  • A straw and spoon

Choose Your Ice Cream: 

First, select your favorite flavor of ice cream. Vanilla is a classic choice, but you can use chocolate, strawberry, banana, or any flavor you prefer. Three scoops of ice cream is perfect. 

Add Milk: 

And then, pour 1 cup of milk into the blender. Whole milk will make your milkshake richer, but you can use any type of milk, including almond, skinny milk or soy milk for  low fat.

Add Ice Cream: 

Take 3 scoops of ice cream into the blender. The ratio of ice cream to milk can be adjusted depending on how thick or thin you like your milkshake.

Add Sugar (Optional): 

If you like your milkshake sweeter, you can add 1 tablespoon of sugar. sugar is optional, normally your ice cream is already very sweet.

Blend: 

Then, put the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This usually takes about 30 seconds to 40 seconds.

Check Consistency: 

If the milkshake is too thick, you can add a little more milk and then blend again. If it’s too thin, add more ice cream.

Pour and Serve: 

And then, pour the milkshake into a tall glass. You can add whipped cream on top for extra indulgence. Sprinkle some chocolate chips, sprinkles, or pieces of fruit on top of the whipped cream. Serve with a straw and a spoon.
